Flesh Flicks: A Head Of Our Time

We've been watching these clips from seminal 1980s sci-fi porno "The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue," and we have to say that we're thoroughly stumped. Despite starring legendary fucksmiths like Sharon Mitchell, Herschel Savage, and Annie Sprinkle, the action is baffling, the dialogue is nonsensical, and the plot completely incomprehensible—but this time it's not because the script is awful. No, the production is actually top-notch (if a little dated) we just can't wrap our minds around this dystopian future where people pay for non-procreative sex and overdose on orgasms. (Could we actually do that someday? Better look into this later.) Science fiction has always dealt with big problems and bigger ideas, but sometimes we just want to keep it simple and watch folks get it on. If we wanted head scratching futuristic mysteries, we'll just get drunk and watch "Blade Runner" again.
