Art Imitates Life Imitating Classic Student/Teacher Trope

One of the pleasures of a pornographic education, apart from the most immediate, is appreciating well-handled variations on a classic theme. This scene, from Men.com's Drill My Hole site, takes the trope of pedagogic fucking, students and teachers engaging in extracurricular sex, and executes it with creative conviction.

Rylan Shaw is a struggling art student of dubious talent (the scene even includes shots of his laughably bad portfolio). Colby Keller is his encouraging art instructor. The plot mostly fills itself in from there, though neither actor gives the impression that it is a convention, unlike the unappealing self-consciousness of similar scenes.

What's best about the scene--in a post-climax, analytical sort of way--is its subtle metaphor for the making of pornography. Keller, the instructor, suggests to Shaw, the failing student, that he gain experience from life to benefit his art. It's a simple idea that works to get them fucking fast, for sure, but it also reminds us of the realness in porn. Despite the construction, there are true feelings, true bodies in the materials. And, wow, they sure are beautiful here.
