Golden Age Star Jerry Butler Has Passed Away

Porn star/AVN Hall of Famer Jerry Butler died last week in Brooklyn. He was 58 years old and a cause of death is not currently available but he is rumored to have passed due to pancreatic cancer.

He entered porn in 1981 and was widely loved for being a very attractive male performer in the industry. He was lauded for his acting and sexual performance in 1981's "Roommates" from VCX directed by legendary director Chuck Vincent.

Butler starred in classic titles like Vivid's "Savannah Superstar", Coast To Coast's "Rainwoman", Candida Royalle/Adam & Eve's "Femme" and about 500 other movies during his very prolific career that ended around 1993. He authored a controversial memoir about his life and times in porn called "Raw Talent". Many performers and other porn industry professionals were not happy at all in how they were represented in this book and some say that his casting opportunities dwindled after the book hit store shelves.

After his time in porn, he moved from Los Angeles to Brooklyn where he worked as a bus driver.
