When I write stories or even these posts, it is because there is a part of MY story I feel compelled to share or my story is missing an answer that I long to discover. When I make choices about what I'll do, or where I'll go, or who I'll do it with, in my heart I'm authoring my own story, shaping it to fit my dreams and longings. . And even when I workout, when I am needing that extra push for that extra mile, or that extra rep, or that extra stretch, or when I'm bored running up and down the stairs to my kid's rooms in my rented home in American suburbia, I use story to motivate or inspire myself. . Story transforms me from a mom, taking advantage of nap time, to a young girl from a rural, valley tribe who's father is dying in a dark hut, and if she can't reach the nearest city, mountains and valleys away, on time, he won't make it. As my imagination takes over, I get swept up in the story and find that before I know it, I'm sweating buckets and my kids are awake. . PS - turn the sound on the vid for the story ??

Who Knew Stairs Could Be Sexy

We've all been told to take the stairs for the exercise. No doubt there are times when we do and times when we don't. But did you know that taking the stairs could be sexy? It's true. If you don't believe me, then watch Evangeline Lilly running up and down the stairs in a bra and shorts.

Yeah, I know, right? Who knew that all stairs needed to be sexy was Evangeline Lilly's cleavage going up and down. Well, technically speaking, I don't believe Evangeline Lilly's cleavage is doing much shaking. I think she's actually doing this for a workout, so she's rocking a sports bra that are keeping her wonderful boobs in place. Still there's a bit of a shake, as one would expect when running up and down the stairs. And I have to admit, watching this Instagram video is kind of workout for me. My heart rate keeps going out, I might be sweating, and there is a shortness of breath going on. I'm going to have to take a break from watching Evangeline Lilly running up and down the stairs and re-hydrate. But like they say in the gym; "Gimmie One More!"

You know, I think I'm going to make the effort to the take the stairs a little more often. Evangeline Lilly has inspired me and made me look at stairs a little different. I know with each step I'll be picture Evangeline Lilly running up and down the stairs with me.
