How Else Do You Find Love When You're a Sugar Daddy?

In my column Only in Florida, I'll be taking you down to the Sunshine State for the latest and greatest sex stories that can only be found in the craziest state in the union.

Finding love is one of the hardest things any of us will ever do. Even though it seems like there are a million ways to meet someone, that doesn't always mean you'll find someone you really want to spend time with. Sometimes it feels helpless, sometimes it feels like there's nothing you can do, sometimes you have to be like one brave Florida Man and take matters into your own hands by passing out business cards to ladies on the beach.

Mr. Richard Basaraba has been banned from Volusia County beaches for 6 months for handing out business cards that read:

“Sugardaddy seeking his sugarbaby.”

According to reports, Mr. Basaraba was handing them out like candy on Halloween. And in case you're wondering what the cards looked like, here's a fantastic description:

The card featured a photo of a young girl sitting on the lap of an older man in a business suit, along with an email address and the accompanying text, “Ask me about your monthly allowance.”

The idea came to Mr. Basaraba after he started walking around local beaches wearing a shirt that said "Accepting application 4A sugar baby." Apparently the ladies loved that shirt, even asked to take pictures wearing it. Mr. Basaraba simply took the next logical step and made business cards. Sadly, handing out business cards for love didn't work out the way he had hoped. Even though he wasn't arrested, I'm sure Mr. Basaraba misses his long walks on the beach with his favorite t-shirt.

If we can take anything from this story is never stop looking for that perfect person, but maybe leave the business cards at home.
