What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"I haven’t always been considered a 'hot girl'. In fact, back in high school, I was a nerd and yes, what they say about nerds is true. (We think about sex a lot. ;)) I was awkward, I didn’t have much of any fashion sense and I definitely wasn’t popular. I was the definition of an ugly duckling. I focused on my academics, getting straight As and I did all my homework. I was involved in the theatre group heavily, doing school plays, random skit nights and in general, just playing around with the drama kids and gear heads. I played soccer and enjoyed the art department. I really only dated one guy when I was in high school. He was my first real boyfriend (the boy you 'dated' in grade five for a week doesn’t count) - my first love and my first sexual partner. He was older, in the theatre program as well, and played rugby. Much like me, he was kind of a nerd."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"Yes, I've always enjoyed porn. It was a secret enjoyment of mine that I didn’t really tell anyone about at first. Living at home, I didn’t really get to watch that much 'real porn' - it was mostly softcore and only what I could find on TV, random weird channels late at night. It wasn’t 'til I met TC, who was like, 'You know you could just rent DVD’s...' and then watching the real thing, my lust for porn really took off. I loved watching the glamorous, gorgeous girls getting pleased and watching them please whichever man they were with. You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?

"It's always a great feeling knowing that I shot what I think is a really hot scene that I came lots during but it's really adds to the experience hearing from my fans how much they enjoyed watching it. Social media allows me to touch bases with them. I love chatting with fans, finding out what they are liking and wanting to see. Mostly I am a people person and love chatting, making new friends and socializing."

How did you become a cam girl? What led you down that career path?

"I first started nude modelling and then on my website katiebanks.com. Camming was something that looked fun and exciting and right up my alley, so when encouraged by a friend to also try it out, I thought why not. I’m a people person and I love being naked! What is one thing you would teach a woman who wanted to be a better sexual partner?

"I would teach her to communicate! It's really the key to any good relationship, especially one of a sexual nature. The more you can share with your partner about your interest, fantasies, dirty secrets or perverted thoughts, the more you will be able to explore. Tell them what’s working and what is not is very key. Its also important to listen to your partner, what they are interested in is just as important as what you are. It takes trust to feel that you can be open and honest with one another and to know that you can explore in a safe environment in which your partner knows your limits and boundaries and you can play within them. I have a theory on sexuality . . . it might seem out there, but think about it and it’ll totally make sense: Bottom line, remember everyone is a pervert. What did you think would be different about being in porn than your cam girl work?

"For me, I didn’t really think it was a huge leap or anything, it's just a different outlet, really. I love filming! The inner acting student in me gets to play with fun outfits, fun scenarios and really flourish when filming. Cam is more of a real-life hang out and has an almost reality TV like environment. I love webcam, but have always considered myself an online naughty model first. Maybe just because that is what I started doing first, but I feel that no matter what direction or activity my porn career presents to me, it's just another way to share a part of me with my fans."

Will you be performing in porn for companies other than Bellapass/Juicy?

"I don’t have any plans to, no - I love being in the creative 'drivers' seat! Getting to direct/produce, just brainstorm and come up with fun ideas, see them through to creation. Being the performer and then seeing the results is very much a big part of the enjoyment of the whole process for me. I was lucky enough to find a best friend who was willing to walk this unpaved fantasy road with me. Being able to star in videos along side my husband has really made things that much more exciting and fun! Feeling 100 percent comfortable with my partner allows us to really push our boundaries in other naughty ways."

What do you like to do for fun?

"Well, my work is pretty fun! I think if they’re honest, a lot of people would love to do what I’m doing, right? But regarding hobbies, etc., I love to get out and explore. I’ve always been the kinda girl who was more interested in who I was with rather than what I was doing. I love playing with my puppies, taking them for long walks, hanging out in the sunshine, reading a good book, playing Xbox, exploring my city and various fun touristy activities. "Yes and no, I feel like I’m not doing things the typical way that other models in porn do it. I feel like I’m taking things at my own pace and doing what is right for me.
