So Jessica Lowndes and Jon Lovitz Aren’t in a Tale of Ribaldry?

A couple of days ago Jessica Lowndes posted a picture of herself and comedian/Saturday Night Live alum Jon Lovitz and announced to the world that they were engaged. But, of course, it turns out this was an early April Fool’s joke. I have to say for a moment that I felt a little sad for Jon Lovitz because Jessica Lowndes is hot and good things should happen to him.  

I’m sure Jon Lovitz was in on it—I don’t think any of us would be surprised to find out a few weeks from now that he was kind of hoping Jessica Lowndes and all her hotness would, in fact, marry him. Jessica Lowndes told Entertainment Weekly all about the joke and her relationship with Jon Lovitz.  

“I came up with the idea for [the fake relationship] last week,” Lowndes tells EW. “I thought maybe it would get some traction, but I wasn’t expecting it to blow up like this.”  

Yes, this was all a bit of fun and a great way to promote her new music video which features Jon Lovitz having some . . . well, how do I put this . . . Kayne style lovin’. Just watch the video, you’ll figure it out.  

Sorry, Jon Lovitz, I was hoping this was real and that you would were getting something that you truly deserve. It was all fun and games, but maybe we should talk about the dangers of joking around with Jessica Lowndes' incredible hotness, someone could really get hurt.
