Confused Boner of the Week: Hayden Panettiere and a Hamburger

Continuing the Carl’s Jr. tradition of trying to give everyone a boner whenever they see a hamburger, their newest commercial features the lovely cleavage of Hayden Panettiere. Sure, this isn’t the raciest of their commercials, but might be one of their best.  

Now, as much as I want to point out that moonshine really doesn’t have much of a flavor other than "burning" (yes, I have had moonshine before), I don’t think that should be the biggest takeaway from the commercial. I mean, are they just trying to say this burger will taste like someone lit your insides on fire and cause you to wake up in a mall parking lot wearing someone else's clothes? That’s not the point—the point is that Carl’s Jr. may not make the best food in the world, but damn it, they make wonderful commercials. You have to admit that when you picture a celebrity making moonshine, Hayden Panettiere does pop into your head. There is something about her sexy swagger that says she might be running 100 proof alcohol from state to state.  

You know, that kind of sounds like a great idea for a movie. I have no idea if the good people over at Carl’s Jr. have considered getting into the movie-making business, but if they are, I just gave them their first idea. Hats off to you, Carl’s Jr., and to Hayden Panettiere for making burgers sexy and moonshine even sexier.
