Sly like Aidra Fox

Aidra Fox was recently cast in the lead role of Elegant Angel's, Slutwoman. I caught up with the teen queen at the 2016 Adult Entertainment Expo to find out how she transformed from an awkward, lesbian-leaning teen in Milwaukee to the heir apparent of one of the most hardcore titles in porn.

Alfie: Is it true that the second guy you ever slept with was your junior high teacher?

Aidra Fox: This is true.  

Alfie: How did that happen? This was in 7th grade right?

Aidra Fox: Yes, this was in 7th grade, in Wisconsin. We were doing a tornado drill and he was telling the class what to do. He said something like, "OK, now get down on your knees." Me, being a smart ass, said, under my breath, “Whatever you want.” Then he said, “Now put your hands behind your head." So I said, “If you please.” Well, he heard me. From then on he always called on me in class. I stayed behind a few times, which wasn't unusual because I was never good in school. Nothing happened for a long time. Then one day he gave me his number and said, "If there is anything you need." Well, I called him and was like, "What are you doing tonight?"

Alfie: You asked him what he was doing?

Aidra Fox: I didn’t know what to say to him, you know. He was my teacher. We talked for a few weeks and nothing happened. It was just, "Hey. What's up? What's life like?" He ended up asking me to dinner with one of his friends and they were both really cool.  

Alfie: Wait. He brought his friend?

Aidra Fox: Yeah, he took his friend. I was a little young for the conversation at the time. I just kind of sat there. Then his friend left and, we, we hooked up that night.  

Alfie: Other than that, you hooked up primarily with girls before porn right? Didn't you have a shaved head at one point? Did you identify as a lesbian or were you just more comfortable with girls?

Aidra Fox: It’s not that I was more comfortable. I still think if I was to settle down, it would be with a woman, so I don't know that I would classify myself as straight, but I am not by any means straight for pay. I do love penis and love having sex with men. But I was always, like, gay when I was young. Girls just appealed to me more. I like older men, but again I could never do anything more with them, other than just having sex with them because I was underage. So I just waited and waited and waited. Right before I turned 18 and moved to California, I attempted to have sex with a guy who was close to my age and I wasn’t into it. But I started working with guys in the business and it has been a lot of fun because they are very experienced and domineering.

Alfie: The first six months you were in porn, you only performed with other women. Was that a business decision or did you just feel more comfortable with other women?  

Aidra Fox: I was definitely more comfortable in the beginning with other girls. Only because it was what I had done most. And then I met one of the male talent, and I was like, "Wait, I can have sex with men like that for money?" So I did my first scene. I fell in love and I couldn’t stop. Right away I started doing anal. I had always experimented with anal with strap-ons. When I was with girls, we’d always done it with strap-ons, so I was always interested in it. So I started doing it on film and it has all gone from there. It has been pretty exciting.  

Alfie: You were recruited for porn while webcamming? Has porn been everything that first agent promised it would be? Did he make being a porn star sound more glamourous than it has been?  

Aidra Fox: Absolutely not. My agent was really down to earth when I started. I thought it was going to be way sleazier than it ended up being. I thought it would be way less glamorous than it has been, at least for me. I’ve had a really awesome career, so I feel like I live a pretty glamorous life for being only 20.

Alfie: I’m sure there are amateur webcam girls who only get booked for one or two scenes and they feel cheated.

Aidra Fox: Absolutely. There are horror stories but I’ve been lucky, so I’m thankful.  

Alfie: What do you think separates you from those other girls who don’t make it? Is it just being tall and slender and built like a model?

Aidra Fox: No way. No. The only thing I can say is that I love what I do. I’m very energetic and charismatic in my scenes and I feel like my fans can really pick up on how much I’m enjoying what I am doing in that moment.  

Alfie: We were on the set together for The Submission of Emma Marx: Exposed. I remember you said, "Whenever a guy almost comes too early with me, I just slap him." Is that true?

Aidra Fox: Haha. I don’t slap them in their face or anything. I’ll just like grab the base of their cock and slap the head of it.  

Alfie: I don’t think that would help.

Aidra Fox: Haha, well, it makes some guys come. I was partially joking. My new thing now is, if a guy comes, I just tell him to do it, then I tell him to just get hard again. I challenge them.  

Alfie: Does that work, telling a guy to get hard again?

Aidra Fox: Haha. Ugh, no. Not always.  

Alfie: You also mentioned how you have a fantasy of having a guy get completely dressed in latex to pleasure you. Has that happened yet?

Aidra Fox: It hasn’t happened yet. I’m hoping it will happen this next year.  

Alfie: How hard would it be to get a guy to do that?

Aidra Fox: That’s what I’m saying.

Alfie: Do you not shoot a lot of fetish scenes?

Aidra Fox: I don’t really. I just started shooting for Kink, so maybe I’ll be getting it within this year. I don’t really do a lot of fetish stuff.  

Alfie: Do you ever get to dictate the type of scene you shoot?

Aidra Fox: Unless it's a showcase, we'll get told the day before or the morning of the direction they want to take the scene. I always know ahead of time what type of scene it will be and if I will be comfortable shooting it. If I don't want to do that type of scene, then I won't shoot it. I definitely have a say in that sense. I just don’t pick the scenes.  

Alfie: The elephant tattoo on your back. Is it a family thing?

Aidra Fox: It is a family thing, which is why I don’t talk about it.
