Dakota Johnson Would Be A Great Silent Film Star

When Dakota Johnson Is Nude, You Don't Need Words

The age of silent film is long gone, but if there was ever a revival of the art form then Dakota Johnson would be the greatest film start of our generation. I say that because I watched most of 50 Shades of Grey with the sound off and yet Dakota Johnson really held my attention.  

I’m not sure I can put my finger on what is about Dakota Johnson that I found so captivating that it really didn’t need words. It could be her subtle glances or the way she tries to tell the story with her eyes or it could have been the large amounts of nudity, but I was really focused in on her performance in that movie. Sure, it could have been a one time deal. I’m probably going to have to watch all the other 50 Shades of Grey movies without the sound to see if Dakota Johnson has what it takes to be a brilliant silent movie star. Just to be safe, I better watch all the movies a few times without the sound on. In fact, I should watch all the scenes with a nude Dakota Johnson multiple times with sound off, sound on, plugging my ears, playing the volume really low, freeze framing moments, watching it slow motion—you know really taking a scientific approach to this.  

The next 50 Shades of Grey isn’t slated to come out until 2017 so, I guess I’ll just have to keep watching the first one and of course, gazing a cleavage filled pictures of Dakota Johnson.
