Australia's always had an outlaw spirit, a reputation it can't seem to shake no matter how restrictive and barbaric a number of their laws are. This past January, Risdon Park South resident Karen Davis was determined to restore that rebellious attitude by flashing her large, pendulous breasts when the Google Maps car drove past her house.
According to The Smoking Gun (link below), this was not only a calculated move on Davis' part, it was something of a lifelong dream she was able to fulfill.
“I look at Google Maps a lot and I wanted to be on there and I thought this is the way to do it,” Davis told the Port Pirie Recorder, her local newspaper. “I got to tick something else off my bucket list.”
Initially, Google's censorship algorithm worked to blur out license plates and Davis' face, but left her breasts out for all to see. When they realized their mistake, they made a half-assed attempt to censor her...
Sadly, as of this morning, they succeeded in censoring her...
For her part, Davis says never mind the haters.
Davis dismissed criticism of her flashing as the jealous wails of the less pendulous. “All the flat-tittie chicks think I am disgusting,” said Davis (who is hoping that Google will send her a free t-shirt).
She doesn't seem to have much use for t-shirts, so I'm not sure why she's angling for one. But hey, if it gets another tick off that bucket list, more power to her.
