Sorry Ladies, Riding Your Man Might Damage His Balls

EDITORIAL FEATURES

null

Since I know you ladies out there want your man to enjoy sex as much as you do, you may want to consider ditching that old chestnut where you're on top of him. According to a study by Advances in Urology, as many as 50% of all penile injuries during intercourse are caused while the woman is on top.

Shape.com (link below) parsed this study down into a more digestible form, which is good because I forgot my glasses at home today, and am therefore 41% less smart without them. You must be wondering why this position is so dangerous. Allow them to blind you with science...

"When a woman is on top, she usually controls the movement with her entire body weight, landing on the erect penis," they say. If you land wrong, while it may not hurt you at all, it could injure him.

The second most harmful position? Doggy style, which was responsible for 28.6 percent of injuries.

Fair enough. 50% is a really high percentage, particularly if we're talking about a sizable group study.

The study was small: It only looked at “44 suspicious cases”

I'm sorry, what now? "44 suspicious cases"? How can you even be allowed to publish a study with a group that small? This feels like pamphlet material more than the stuff that scientific studies are made of. I wouldn't worry too much about riding your man, ladies. There are bound to be at least 22 women in the world that just can't do anything right.
