It's been a while since we've seen Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon nude on film. You'd have to go back to Twilight (the 1998 one. Not that tween, vampire tripe) to find the last time we got a glimpse of Reese's pieces. I'd have to say, it was worth the wait!
Witherspoon is gunning for her second Oscar with her latest turn in the critically acclaimed (92% on Rotten Tomatoes!) film Wild, a biographical drama directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, written by Nick Hornby. She stars as Cheryl Strayed. Cheryl's going through a rough divorce and has generally led an unfocused, self-destructive life. She reaches her breaking point when her mom (the awesome Laura Dern) dies. She decides to go off on a thousand mile hike of the Pacific Crest Trail solo, as a sort of therapy. Did I mention this is biographical? Wonder if our bosses would give us the vacation time to go on such a hike? But I hear this isn't as narcissistic as Eat, Pray, Love so it's got that going for it.
The film is in theaters now and also stars nude vet Gaby Hoffman, Brian Van Holt (fresh from Ascension) and Game of Thrones and Orphan Black's Michiel Huisman.
