The study investigated the effects of masturbation induced orgasm by lymphocyte circulation and cytokine production (them fighting cells) in healthy young males, and concluded that components of the immune system are activated by sexual arousal and orgasm. Translation: Wanking cures everything.

Ejaculation also increases levels of the hormone cortisol, according, according to Dr Jennifer Landa, a specialist in hormone therapy. Cortisol often gets a bad rap as a stress-inducing hormone, but can actually help regulate and maintain immunity in small doses. "Masturbation can produce the right environment for a strengthened immune system," Landa says. 

Clinical sexologist Gloria Brame, also adds, "It's healthier than brushing your teeth every day."
