Alessandra Ambrosio Wears Denim Shorts and Puns Fly

There is no debate when it comes to Alessandra Ambrosio. She is a beauty. The chance sight of her in the tony city of Brentwood is sure to give any red-blooded man the wood. But it also makes headline writers giddy with puns. This is not the way to treat a lady. 

While we love Egotastic! (link below) and understand why there's an exclamation mark in its logo. It gets us excited with its churning web pages of celebrity tease and occasional nudity. But there is a tragic fail to its design and that's the way it lends into punny wordplay that is beneath it and only deadens arousal. 

Think of it, do you want to have your stroke-ready kindle dampened by a soaking wet and unnecessary pun. Oh, sure, we've all been guilty of this grammatical sin, but that doesn't excuse its continued use. Maybe, just maybe, headline writers and girl-copy jockeys can just speak what's on their minds without the wink and nod. 

Who started this tawdry tradition anyway? It's one step above alliteration in terms of cheap narrative device. Readers, you deserve better, but then, of course, this all implies that you're reading these words, instead of just staring at the pictures.
