If I were to tell you that the director of the number one movie in America once directed a movie with Sasha Grey, you'd assume I was talking about a porn, right? Well, you're half right. Writer/director James Gunn created a webseries called "PG Porn" that he shot in the mid-2000s, which was basically all the setup of a porn with none of the payoff.
This was first brought to our attention by Gawker (link below), and all of these videos nicely show off Gunn's familiarity with porn clichés, as well as his wicked sense of humor. There's even a fake "Adult Content" warning before some of them.
With titles like Helpful Bus, Genital Hospital, and Roadside Ass-Sistance (above), these videos have all of those great 70s porn tropes in them, which are a comedy goldmine. It's kind of sad, in a way, that porn has become just fucking for the most part. Those terribly acted scenes may have been a chore to sit through, but they were always amazing little bits of unintentional comedy.
