If you're a new band, and you play electronic music, how do you distinguish yourself from the scores of other musical combos out there vying for attention on an already noisy social media scene? Get naked. That's just what the Boreals have done for their official music video release "Nage." And, yes, you see "Vage."
You can see the video above, which I got from Vimeo (link below), and you can see everything. The music is soothing, but driving, and feels very uplifting and leads somewhere that I can't quite articulate. The video perfectly captures these sensations with a slow motion pan of the characters all dressed in white, men and women, who begin to undress and then leap nakedly into the air.
They float as if in space and twist and turn, the meat on their nude bodies rippling, their breasts undulating, penises popping up and vaginas sprouting all variety of bush. We see ass, of course, and smiles. For these people are finally free of the constraints and expectations of life, free to express their nakedness without shame or embarrassment, but to the beat, and we can all beat off to it.
