Gorgeous, inked Burning Angel girl Draven Star headlines the latest Burning Angel release, "Vampire Cheerleaders" that is out now on BurningAngel.com and will be released on DVD on May 21st. Star was the resident expert on all things bloodsucking on set via her love of the darkness. She's well-informed on other kinds of sucking too. Here's what she has to say about all of that and more.

1. What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date? Any chance you were a cheerleader?

I was actually kind of quiet in high school. I was involved in student council, concert band and theatre, I didn't have a lot of friends and was pretty shy when it came to making new ones. I actually was a cheerleader for a very short amount of time, but it wasn't a very well put together thing at the time. It didn't last and the dudes on the basketball team thought I was too goth or something.

2. Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

I really didn't know a whole lot about porn. I was aware of some people but I'd wouldn't really say I had a favorite until I actually got into the industry and found out how vast it really was.

3. How do you feel about all of the awards/acceptance you have had as a performer?

Honestly, it blows my mind. Especially being nominated for Best BBG scene in "Band Sluts" this year at AVNs. It was my first time ever shooting with (or fucking) 2 men, and it was so much fun. Though I didn't win that catagory, "Band Sluts" took home Best Comedy, which I am so honored that I was able to be a part of. It feels really rad.

4. What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven't done yet?

Oh goodness. I feel like there is a lot that I haven't done on camera. Honestly I'm open to trying a lot of things and continuing to explore new things about myself. I just like to bone.

5. Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

I've always really enjoyed working with Tommy Pistol and Mick Blue. Tommy is just a really great guy who is always a blast to be around, and hes super attentive, which is amazing. I just really like working with Mick, hes really professional and he has a kickass accent. Its hard for me to pick a favorite female, but I really super love working with Kleio Valentine and Joanna Angel <3

6. I have been told that you are a major Harry Potter fan. What do you love about the books/movies?

Hahaha, EVERYTHING. Really. I grew up reading them and just getting lost in them. I remember going to opening night when "Sorcerer's Stone" came out in theaters. I got a Dark Mark tattoo a few years ago and I constantly go back and forth on getting more HP pieces. I went to the Universal Studios Wizarding World park a couple of years ago and I just lost it. I can't wait for the Diagon Alley expansion to open. I fucking LOVE Harry Potter.

7. What's your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

I like anything where I can be kind of pinned down. I like feeling like a little ragdoll when I'm getting fucked. Toss me around and do whatever you'd like. As long as I can get my hair pulled and play with my pussy I'm down.

8. What about having ink makes one sexier?

I just think it makes you look a lot more interesting when you're naked.

9. Tell us about the day that you met Joanna Angel.

That feels like so long ago!! I was crashing at the old BA office in Williamsburg, and it was the day before our new years eve party. Joanna arrived at the loft, and then we went for a walk to go get sandwiches in the middle of the night. She was really really nice and I couldn't really believe how cool she was. She's a great lady, I really love her.

10. I was told that you were the person on-set who knew the most about vampires.

Haha, Yeaaaaaahhhh. Zombies are like really cool right now, but I've always preferred vampire movies. I grew up watching them and reading a lot of vampire novels. I didn't really come on set thinking I was going to know as much as I did but then I just started spouting off a bunch of otherwise useless vampire knowledge. Looks like I got cast in the right movie!

11. What makes vampires sexy? Who has been the sexiest vampire on-screen? Please share how you made the movie hotter for vampire fans.

I dig the whole ageless never die thing, but I also really like blood. I think blood is sexy and sacred. Pretty much the entire cast of Interview with the Vampire is sexy. I'm also partial to the punky Lost Boys vampire. For the movie I just tried to help keep things as close to what is kind of generally accepted as vampire lore, as far as "changing" and the continuity of the makeup. I hope everyone likes it!!

12. What do you think is your best scene to date and what made it so exquisite for you?

I had a lot of fun shooting my scene in "Vampire Cheerleaders" with Jessie Lee and Seth Gamble, as well as my scene with Mick Blue in "Pale Girls". I don't think I know what my best scene to date is! What do you think?

13. You are a particularly great actress in your feature work. What training have you had? Who are your role models in acting?

Thank you! I took some classes in high school, but I've been in a number of plays and musicals. Ive done a couple independent movies and am always looking to do more. I really love to act. I've always loved Christina Ricci, I think shes a great chameleon.

14. You did a great threeway with Jessie Lee and Seth Gamble in this. How hot is Jessie Lee in person? What makes you love working with her?

Thanks!! I was pretty excited when I was told about this scene. I've known Jessie for a number of years now and she's only gotten hotter. She's so beautiful, its insane. She's so energetic and passionate, but she's almost a little silly at the same time. Shes really fun to work with!

15. What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

I really really really loved "Saving Mr. Banks". I adore Walt Disney and Im so so happy that the Disney company did a movie involving him as a person.

16. How about the best porno movie? What porn do you get off on?

If I'm looking at porn online, I really like lesbian or bgg scenes. I think vaginas are prettier than cocks are. Buuuuut, my favorite are these homemade pornos that my dude and I film together. Some are really hot...some reference a lot of Harry Potter and are still very hot!

17. Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

I think toys are cool and all, but I prefer to just use my fingers. I do own a few toys, like a Lelo that I really dig, for when I'm buzzed on some level and don't have the proper hand-vag coordination. It happens.

18. If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.
Ive always had a HUUUUUUGE crush on Fairuza Balk. Like, everyone wants to bang her as Nancy in The Craft, but I just wanna bang her all the time. I dig her style. I also have a legit real thing for Jared Leto. Those are have always been killer but his HAIR right now, hooooly fuck. I love dudes with long hair. I would like both of them at the same time, please.
