The NFL draft concluded over the weekend. Being a hardcore football nut, I was glued to my seat waiting to see who the Bears would select, where Johnny Manziel was going and if the openly gay Michael Sam would get drafted (which he thankfully did). It's always tough to figure out how a young player is going to adapt to playing in the big leagues. Talking head "experts" like Mel Kiper Jr. go on and on about someone's "high motor" and "upside." It's far from an exact science.
It does appear the people behind Game of Thrones have perfected a formula for success. There's never a shortage of top flight, high pedigreed, first round talent on this team. Last season, they selected 5'3 Charlotte Hope from Great Britain and based on her incredible talents, they made the right choice. In last night's episode, Hope displayed a tight end that can absorb some big hits and a stellar array of breasts that leaves the competition in the dust. She made a couple of big plays in the field while tackling some lucky guy for a big sack.
There's always a few gems available in the later rounds and the young Sarine Sofair's underrated skills will make everyone else rue the day they passed her up. This is an explosive squad that can always score touchdowns on Sundays.
