Porn is Giving French Men a Complex

We already know how esoteric and, well, French the French can be, but a shocking new study shows from where some of that may stem.

A new study by the polling agency Ifop (link below), more than one third of all French men under age 25 admit to having a complex about the size of their penis after watching porn. Overall, that number falls to less than one-quarter of all the men surveyed who admitted to watching porn (90%), meaning that it's likely closer to 100% among that other ten percent.

61% of the men age 18-24 believe that their penis plays an integral role in the sexual satisfaction of their partner.

"If the French maintain a certain distance between reality and the plastic 'out of the ordinary' presented in porn movies, the sight of the over-sized male organs can increase anxiety among young men," Ifop concluded. It might not just be watching porn that has given young Frenchmen a complex. A 2012 study in penis sizes revealed that Frenchmen on average have smaller penises than their British, Swedish and German counterparts.

So the next time some Frenchman is rude to you, have a heart. He's likely just finished watching porn and now feels that he can't satisfy his companion.
