Happy Snapping

We'd love to be attending a reading of some sort of poetry, where, instead of the roar of applause from a crowd of snapping fingers, the accolades arrive in the form of scores if snapping thong strings. There's way more effort required, so it demonstrates a higher level of admiration. Then we'd applaud the poppin' thongs with a standing O. And so we'd continue in a giant circle-jerk of cheer.
