Netflix Picks: Killer Cuties And Action Angels

One of the stranger side effects of watching porn all day every day is that we now tend to enjoy watching mainstream movies with strong female leads. Powerful ladies have a monopoly on our minds! Fortunately, Netflix is full of feisty femmes who are both fatale and falling out of their clothes.

1. Sushi Girl: A man named Fish has just been released from prison after serving his time for his part in a diamond heist. After keeping his lips buttoned up for his whole term, he's ready to meet up with his old crew (including Mark Hamill!) and divide the loot that was lost years ago. They arrange a lavish and private dinner of sushi, served on the naked body of a catatonic young woman (Cortney Palm) who doesn't react to anything they say. So where are the diamonds? Nobody knows! Therefore, torture and flashbacks! There's a freaky twist at the end but we don't want to spoil it for you because this is such a tense and dark thriller. Just know that Cortney Palm is naked for pretty much the entire damn movie.

2. Picture Claire: Claire (Juliette Lewis) is one the run from a gang of vicious heroin-dealing bikers who torched her apartment. She flees to Toronto to stay with ex-lover Billy, but he's nowhere to be found; since Claire speaks only French, she can't find anyone to help her. With the bikers and the cops on her ass, Claire has no one to turn to but Mickey Rourke and Gina Gershon, a criminal couple who want Claire in their schemes. This strange noir was deconstructed by the director and made into a strange commentary film called "Claire's Hat" that actually did much better than the original film. Nonetheless, you will find nudity from Camilla Rutherford and Juliette Lewis at 35:00 and 1:21:00.
