Some days you get trapped on an endless train of hardcore porn GIFs from and the world looks like it's very subtly looping in front of your eyes; this happens to everyone. In an effort to illustrate this feeling, Richardson Magazine has taken a ton of naughty GIFs, smashed them together in a video, and put the whole thing to an Ariel Pink song. What used to take a whole night of loneliness and glazed eyeballs now only takes a minute and four seconds!
We recognize a bunch of the GIFs used in this video, and we're sure you will too, because a lot of them are rather popular on the internet. Although this video doesn't have the topical appeal that some of Richardson's recent work does (such as the Hurricane Sandy and Sylvia Kristel videos), it's still a fascinating video for the way it makes you think about GIFs as a phenomenon. How did they get so big? Why are they so fun to obsess over? How does the GIF's small file size contribute to its transferability and overall popularity? It's a trip to ponder, as is the process of making this video. Think about it: these are tiny chunks of porn movies turned into pictures, put on the internet, grouped and looped together, and turned back into a longer movie. It's like making steak out of meatloaf!
