The Vanity Vr4.5 Will Make You Come

JOpen has unleashed their Vanity line of vibrators, ranging from the bullet-style Vr 1 to the increasingly elaborate Vr 12: a bunny-topped, double-motored, rotating shaft dildo. The Vr4.5 falls somewhere in between -- and purrs like a V8 engine.

As a person who has had some problems with promises from G-spot-seeking vibes, the first thing I have to say about the Vr4.5 is that it had such power behind its vibrations that my whole vagina felt like a G-spot. That was a sensation I hadn't bargained for, but was very pleased to encounter.

But, first things first. The toy apparently is designed by women for women, and really is the most logical and intuitive vibrator I've (literally) come across in a good while. The Vanity comes with a charger that slips into its relatively hidden port (the toy is waterproof) and after four hours is good to go.

This version boasts two motors, one in the clit-stimulating topper and one in the shaft, each controlled independently through a two-button interface. There are no crazy patterns or modes to speak of--which, for the most part, I haven't found that impressive in the past. Each button simply controls its motor, with an extended press kicking the speed into high gear, while a quick tap shuts it off. You can use just one motor or the other, use them both cranked up all the way, or have one buzzing mildly and the other how you please. It was great to have this sort of easy-to-use control; the only thing I might hope for is being able to save your preferences so you don't have to adjust for every use. But it's easy enough to get there that that's not a huge issue.

And now for the strength of the motors -- hoo-wee! The clit-topper is basically as strong as can be desired, but what I was really blown away by was the power in the shaft. Like I said, I sometimes grumble about G-spot vibes not achieving their claims in my stalwart vag, but this was not even a question with the Vr4.5. From the moment I felt it pumped up full-strength inside me, I knew it was just a matter of seconds before I would come all over this thing. And I did. And how.

The only other thing I could hope for would be an extended handle so there could be more easy maneuvering of the dildo when inside, instead of having to reach my hand way down and be finagling the end of the toy. However, minor concerns, all, when compared with the joys the Vanity begets. This toy has certainly dethroned my favorite vibes, even my cheapo but beloved butterfly as the king of my bedroom collection. Curious to try out the others... and to try this one out again and again.
