Netflix Picks: A Different Kind Of Sex Education

We don't want you to just watch these movies, we want them to transform you. Netflix gives you access to so many different ideas and walks of life that it'd be silly to do nothing but masturbate to it, so today, we're giving you a handful of erotic yet educational movies.

Wait, did we say educational movies? We meant raunchy comedies. Yep! Nasty, immature sex romp salad served with raunch dressing. Dig in.

1. I Am a Sex Addict: Caveh Zahedi made this autobiographic tale of his struggle with sex addiction using a combination of home movies, confessionals, and dramatic reenactments, and the end result is both painfully sad and refreshingly funny. You see? We were joking about joking about this being a list of educational movies. How often do you get a chance to enter the mind of a sex addict who also happens to be a talented filmmaker? And yes, there's a fair amount of nudity here, but this isn't no softcore smut fest.

2. Revenge of the Nerds: If you're looking for a softcore smut fest, this is a good step in the right direction. Everybody knows about "Revenge of the Nerds," right? We're assuming we don't need to recap the plot. Anyhow, some of you may have only seen the edited version of this movie on Comedy Central, so you might not know that the Pi Delta Pi's show a good deal of skin. Yes, that scene with the oral sex and the costume in the moon bounce is a little questionable, but you'll have to let it slide. After all, it was 1984.

3. American Pie Presents: Beta House: Netflix has a surprising percentage of the "American Pie" straight-to-DVD collection! This movie is similar in style and structure to "Revenge of the Nerds," except the jocks are being oppressed by the nerds, and I think some guy blasts aged horse semen into his mouth. Don't let that turn you off though; "Beta House" is far more Greek-oriented than its predecessors, and therefore it contains way more nudity than any other film in the series.

4. Public Sex: Also known as "Dogging: A Love Story." Unemployed journalist Dan wants to write a story about dogging: semi-public sex with strangers, often conducted in cars in parking lots. While learning more about the ins and outs of the culture, Dan falls for Laura, and a strange relationship buds. But oh no, Dan has a girlfriend! You can bet your bippy that some goofy hijinks come out of this conundrum, and before the credits roll, you'll have learned a lot about dogging (and watched a bunch of people bang by night-vision camera).

5. How to Be a Player: Man, whatever happened to Bill Bellamy? Back in 1997, he was using Def Jam as a mouthpiece for teaching the world about his innovative playing methods, and then he was in "Fastlane" in 2002, and then we lost track of him. Fortunately, Netflix has made sure that his teachings will live on forever, available to all in Instant Streaming. Watch as Bill hooks up with five gorgeous women, instructs you in the finer points of smooth talking, and gives you some handy tips for making booty calls via your beeper.
