Ryan Keely’s Top Ten Porn Movies

I'll be the first to admit that this list is really outdated. Back in the day, when I was working for the Netflix of porn and had a DVD review show on Playboy radio, my job in the adult industry was a lot different. Most notably, I was watching 8-12 DVDs a week—whereas now that I'm performing myself, I don't have the time to watch so much content. However, every single DVD on this list stands up. Just like with regular movies, a classic porno is one that stands the test of time.

The Fashionistas: This movie is a must watch for any serious porn fan—and especially for anyone interested in BDSM. Directed by the legendary John Stagliano (aka the inventor of gonzo pornography) it starts the ridiculously-good-at-fucking Belladonna and Rocco Siffredi. This is the first huge budget movie made by Evil Angel, and it really shows what a production company used to working on shoestring gonzo budgets can do when it's given a little cash. With so much Belladonna in this movie, it's hard to pick a my favorite scene—but mine is actually her solo scene, which I have watched over and over and over again.

Dreamquest: Another $250,000 porn movie. This stars Jenna Jameson in her heyday. It's a sparkly magical journey with lots and lots of fucking in silly fantasy outfits. It's like WoW and Legend had a porno baby. An all-star cast and fantastic production levels makes this movie a porno classic. Every time I watch this movie I'm amazed at the amount of body glitter that was used. It's very of its time, and it's the perfect young Jenna Jameson movie. There are a lot of great performers in this movie, my favorite is seeing Bridget Kerkov and Jenna Jameson pre-massive facial surgery. This movie also features Evan Stone's balls before they dropped and made shooting him in an "up and under" impossible.

Gang Up vol 1 and 2 from New Sensations: These movies are exactly what a gangbang movie should be. Each scene has a super hot Euro babe being done by 3-5 men. Unlike most American gangbangs, the male performers featured in Gang Up are strong performers, very fit and mostly good looking with huge hard cocks. And trust me: in each scene, you're going to see air tights, DP and lots of anal. Because the limited the number of male performers, the quality stays high and there aren't any shots of dudes standing in the background jerking their junk. I quit watching porn when I got to know the majority of the performers. It's weird watching people you know fuck.)

Urotsukidōji , Legend of the Overfiend: The first porn movie I ever watched, and probably the reason I like gang-bang porn so much. Urotsukidōji  was the first ever tentacle rape anime, and in my mind this makes this a classic. It's a little hard to find subtitles copied of this, and with my hatred of dubbing I enjoy this on the original bootleg VHS copy I've had since the age of thirteen. The creator, Toshio Maeda, went on to create many great tentacle hentai films like La Blue Girl (it's totally awesome) and Demon Beast Invasion.

Bella Loves Jenna: This is the last DVD I bought before I started reviewing professionally and started getting my smut for free. I was so excited for this movie and so broke I had to save up for it. It still is a must have. Belladonna and Jenna Jameson fuck each other! That alone is makes this worth buying, but it gets better. Belladonna and Nacho Vidal (my favorite male performer of all time) fuck for a solid 45 min while balanced on pipes in the boiler room of an abandoned hospital. It's ridiculously hot. Rumor has it the Jenna and Bella fisted each other, but because of stringent adherence to obscenity laws that footage never saw the light of day.

Chameleons: Not the Sequel: Everything John Leslie directed is good. He was porno's renaissance man. He directed, performed, scored and managed to have a rich life far away from the porno crowd. You can learn everything you need to know about what a porn movie should be by watching John Leslie movies. He did what every porn director should do and only shoot movies they, themselves find hot. Chameleons: Not the Sequel is classic John Leslie.Wwith the very designed moody lighting and full bush on some performers, it can feel slightly dated, but it's a piece of porno history. For me, this movie is defined by an 8 minute scene of Rocco Siffredi and Ashlyn Gere in a bathroom. 8 minutes, two positions and that scene is hotter than 99% of the porn shot today. Chameleons: Not the Sequel is just one of the many iconic titles that John Leslie created, The Dogwalker, the Voyeur and Naomi: There is Only One are all must watch titles for the serious porn fan.

Gangbang: Volume 5: This is a two DVD set feature one of my all-time favorite performers Naomi taking on 12 of the top American male porn stars, the other disc features Sasha Grey taking on 15 dudes. Remember when Sasha Grey was a pornstar? Wasn't she so much more awesome then?
