Fleshbot’s Fall TV Guide: Topless Treasures For Sweater Weather

Fleshbot's Fall TV Guide: Topless Treasures For Sweater WeatherWe're going to miss the summer a lot. However, the one good thing about the nights getting colder and colder is that you don't have to feel bad for spending the evening at home, watching unabashedly sexy television!

If this season's lineup seems a little dude-heavy, that's because it is. Our Summer TV Guide featured shows with bold, female protagonists like "Weeds," "The Big C," and "True Blood," but now all we have to look forward to are gentlemen with strange jobs: detectives, smugglers, a gigolo, and a serial killer. Even though Paz de la Huerta and Kelly Macdonald are important to "Boardwalk Empire" (and not just because they often go topless), Prohibition-era Atlantic City is still a man's world.

We're already getting ahead of ourselves; it goes to show how excited we are about this upcoming season of shows! Now that some of the most reliably smutty programs are coming back, we wonder how we ever found anything to write about on Monday mornings endured these long months without them.

Bored to Death (October 10)
We might be getting into longshot territory here, but not deeply so; "Bored to Death" has had a surprising amount of boobage for a show that stars Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis, and Ted Danson. Performance artist/burlesque royalty Julie Atlas Muz showed up last season, briefly giving us the fantasy that HBO had decided to take "Bored to Death" in a new, racy direction that involved a different burlesque show every episode. Sadly, this was not the case, but they still give us some naughtiness now and then. It's sweet of them, isn't it?

Fleshbot's Fall TV Guide: Topless Treasures For Sweater WeatherBoss (October 21)
Once again, Starz's newest show is our longshot for nudity next season. Also, we'd like to remind you that Starz executives strongly encourage nudity in all of their programming. Lastly, let's not forget that every time we crack a joke about the blatant unsexiness of shows like "Pillars of the Earth" and "Torchwood: Miracle Day," we end up eating our words.

All that being said, meet "Boss." Kelsey Grammer plays Tom Kane, Mayor of Chicago, and he has a "crushing secret" that he keeps from everyone, even his most trusted advisors, even Kathleen Robertson who plays a woman named Kitty O'Neil!

Spoiler alert: he has a degenerative brain disease. When "The Big C" came around, we thought terminal diseases would put a damper on any potential naked fun, but we were quite wrong.

We don't mean to make light of such a dramatic drama, but we're pretty sure this is a recipe for sexy times. Combining the mandatory raunch of Starz with a life-threatening illness and a woman named Kitty can only bring good times. Maybe the good times won't be objectively, you know, good, but if there's even a slight chance that we can see Kathleen Robertson's boobs then we're happy.
