Sex, Drugs, And Richard Kern

Given that Richard Kern made his history photographing lovely ladies from the underground scenes of society, you could be forgiven for assuming this photo spread explores the use of pharmaceuticals of an illicit variety. But no: in the latest issue of Vice, the illustrious Richard Kern turns his attention to the other kind of drug use: namely, legal medications (and the lovely ladies who take them).

In photo after photo, we're presented with a gorgeous girl—and a look at the medications she's prescribed. It's a surprisingly intimate portrait of a group of lovely young ladies, baring far more than the usual run of the mill nudie spread. This girl isn't just showing us her breasts, she's also showing us what birth control she takes; a few photos later, we've learned that another model is a diabetic. Is it more arousing to look into the medicine cabinets, as well as the clothes, of these beautiful women? The jury's still out on that one...but we do know that it's definitely fascinating.
