Photographing naked women (with their knowledge) takes a combination of skill, finesse, and audacity. To do so for two decades without getting into fights with boyfriends is even more of an accomplishment. Michael Charles tells us how in "Money Shots."
Charles sent along these snaps from his new e-book "Money Shots: The Insider's Guide to the Worlds of Nude & Erotic Photography," a tome we found fascinating simply for its nuts-and-bolts approach to the photographer's craft in general and the "erotic" photographer's specific skillset.
Charles shows that it is possible to make a living selling snaps to gentlemen's magazines, and his book even includes a list of publishers and a tutorial video.
The images in "Money Shots" first appeared in publications we have never heard of, but that only speaks to the fact that there are a lot more attractive people willing to take their clothes off than we've had the pleasure of meeting (though we are familiar with Ashley Fires, Lily Thai, and Vicky Vette).
