Fleshbot Fashion Police: If The Pastie Fits …

CELEBRITY

We know what you're thinking: "Oh puh-leez, Fleshbot Fashion Police, you're just featuring pasties in this post because you want to show pictures of boobies." Actually ... well, actually we have no clever retort to that, because it's pretty much true. But our fixation with boobs aside, pastie making is a serious art! Well, not that serious, but still it requires enough skill and creativity that there are people out there who make pastie making their speciality--and it's those people we are taking a closer look at in today's Fleshbot Fashion Police feature. And yes, we will be looking closely at the boobs that those pasties are ostensibly covering up too. Happy now? - Audacia Ray

Tastie Pastie Covers Those Nipples Good (tastiepasties.com)
Though they don't really advertise their product as such, Seattle-based Tastie Pastie consistently makes pasties that are rather large. So if you've got big aerolas or feel a little shy about revealing the boobage in general, they're a good source. Their designs, like the pictured hula girl pasties, tend to the whismical and seem to largely be inspired by sales at craft stores. Not that that's a bad thing.

Booby Bling: Pasties for A Heavy Metal Festival (boobybling.com)
Most pasties make boobies a little more glamorous and a little more mysterious: Are those nipples puffy? Are they big and dark? But somehow Booby Bling's pasties don't foster that same sense of wonderment. Instead, they conjure up images of drunk groupies vying for attention of long haired guitar players. This is not good. Also, they kind of look like they're really supposed to be patches that belong on stonewashed denim jackets and not boobs; we're not sure this is such a good thing either.

Gothfox Does the Pastie Tradition Proud (gothfox.com)
No pastie roundup would be complete without some tried and true designs ... and Gothfox delivers these classic-style pasties pretty damn well. Most of their pasties are small and circular; many have tassles, and the fabrics are shiny and pretty. Plenty girly and perfect for pretty much any aspiring burlesque star!

Sabina's Boobs Glitter for Titmore & Asspley (myspace.com/crystaltassels)
The cleverly (?) named Titmore & Asspley specializes in pasties with crystals; although they use crystals for other accessories in their line too, like high heels and lingerie, bejeweled boobies are their specialty. At the moment T&A only has a MySpace page insted of a full-fledged website, but it's still got some pastie-sporting models of note including Sabina (pictured) and longtime Fleshbot fave Maisumi Max. There's also some pretty aggressive language about their designs being copyrighted, which made us wonder how many ways you can design a pastie ... and how many people out there make a habit of stealing pastie designs. But what do we know? We're not the experts.
