Despite what "Calendar Girls" may have told you, stripping off and posing for a nude calendar is not guaranteed to end your monetary woes. It is, however, a guaranteed way to get press, and lots of it.

Witness the flight attendants of Air Comet: owed almost a year's salary by the grounded airline, they took their fate into their hands, and made a (rather nice looking) naked calendar. And now they're all over the news! True, their calendar may not be selling as well as they hoped, and they're still a bit shy of recouping their losses. But hey: maybe the massive publicity campaign will just shame Air Comet into paying them what they're owed. That always happens, right?
