Avalon Barrie And Lyudmila Shiryaeva Get Sapphic In “Sappho”

Famous Lesbian (and lesbian) Sappho gave the world so much: poetry, euphemisms for lesbianism...and, with the release of "Sappho," a whole lot of hot sex scenes (both girl on girl and girl on guy!).

Now, interestingly, "Sappho" isn't actually about, you know, the real Sappho, but rather a story of an American wife—conveniently also named Sappho—who takes a trip to the Isle of Lesbos with her husband, and ends up making out with girls. Let this be a lesson to all parents: if you name your daughter Sappho, she'll probably end up sapphic. Especially if she takes a trip to the Isle of Lesbos. We're not saying it's a bad thing (in fact, we think it's a pretty swell thing!), but, you know...just be aware and all.
