Catherine McNeil’s Risque Shoot Makes Us Care About Fashion Again

Though we're generally pleased with the career path we've chosen, there are times when we find ourselves wistfully thinking of the road not taken. The road towards the career of high fashion photographer.

Yes, reader, there was a time, long ago, when we considered pursuing a career in the world of fashion photography. To think what we would have seen, what we would have experienced—the women (like Catherine McNeil!) who might have taken their tops off for our camera. Oh, if only our preschool teacher hadn't taken away our toy camera all those years ago...who knows where we might have ended up today?

(Though, to be honest, things didn't turn out that badly. After all, we still get paid to look at Ms. McNeil topless...and we don't even have to leave the comfort of our bedroom!)
