"Mork & Mandy" is full of healthy, tart British sex, titanic boobs, and fleshy hips, with rompable girls like a room full of nippled beanbags. But it would have been more honestly titled "Page 3 Alien Girl Fucks London."
"Mork & Mandy"
We have already seen porn parodies that were better than the original, logical adult versions of the original and, yes, yucky versions of the original, but with Bluebird's "Mork & Mandy" we now have the first porn parody of a spunoff original that itself was made into a porn parody.
As anyone whose parents were teens during this exhilarating era, and who was probably conceived during Mork's initial appearance battling the Fonz on "Happy Days," he also knows that "Mork & Mindy" quickly departed Milwaukee and the early 60's for late 70's Boulder, and became the sitcom that introduced the world to both Robin Williams and Conrad Janis in addition to giving us that wholesome girl next door with the strangely provocative name, Pam Dawber.
But "Mork & Mandy," an international effort starring Amy Azurra and Cindy Behr (and featuring juicy stateside pornsters Tyler Faith and Brianna Love) from England's Bluebird Films, dispenses with any similarity whatsoever to the original sitcom, making Mork a large-breasted alien who nominally befriends the Brit Mandy and occasionally zaps people as she's fucking them.
"Mork & Mandy" casts into relief all of today's parodies, what with their attention to detail, Supertramp, and wigs, and tells them, "Stop trying so hard." This movie takes us to that period in porn's past when all a producer would have to do is make some pun on an existing mainstream project and back it up with a porn movie that had nothing at all to do with it. And sell thousands of movies. Yes, "Mork & Mandy" is like that.
