Still Not A Parody: “Gimme A Fucking Spring Break 2”

I don't advocate more porn parodies, but I think the strategic addition of "fucking" in the title is just porn's speed, like "Masterpiece Fucking Theatre" or "No-fucking-va." Anyway, there remains no Nell Carter in "Gimme A Fucking Spring Break 2."

The great thing about Pink Visual movies is that they appear improvised. While the camera techniques look unprofessional, the viewer still gets all the sex of a standard-issue porn movie, and while the "narrative," such as it is, would have you believe that ordinary dudes are just cruising the windy beach for ordinary horny girls, they're all pros (witness Dave Pounder and Satine Phoenix).

Because of the deceptive staging, we feel like we're watching something a little more sordid and basic. And we are, because the performers are only to get from point A to point B without any line coaching. We hear their real thoughts. It's very Method. Only the knowledge that all legal documents with social security numbers, proof of age and real names are on file somewhere at Pink Visual HQ keeps us from searching out Satine on a beach.

The material on this DVD is fairly ancient and often comprised of people we've never seen before or since, as well as a few friendly and agreeable performers whose bodies nevertheless don't fit the porn star mold. For that reason as well, "Gimme A Fucking Spring Break 2" is a different kind of porn movie.
