Forget James Cameron and "Avatar": if 3D TVs ever reach the mass adoption stage, it'll be thanks to the efforts of AV Idols like Mika Kayama and Yuma Asami.

These two lovely ladies are slotted to star in Japan's first DVDs shot for 3D TVs (creatively named "3D X Mika Kayama" and "3D X Yuma Asami"). Will their efforts have an effect on the sales of this new technology? Only time will tell...but we, for one, would much rather use the power of 3D to welcome Yuma Asami into our living room than, well...anything by James Cameron.
