Digital Playground Pirates: Janine’s Pleasure Ring

Capturing the swashbuckling fun of the Pirates film, Janine's Pleasure Ring comes complete with "clitoral stimulator" in the shape of a skull wearing a pirate hat, and 4-setting vibrating bullet textured in pirate-themed relief.

I enjoyed the look and feel of this ring, a marked improvement from the bulkiness of others I've tried. The ring and skullhead are so soft and squishy and the bullet is compact. However, the lovely squishiness in hand sort of backfired in use. My boyfriend said the ring actually has too much give (and it does. After testing it out, I could actually get both my wrists in it with still more give. But hey, maybe that's another use to consider!) And the softness of the skull/pirate hat clitoral combo prevented it from more forcefully directing the vibrating currents where they need to go. Obviously, some people climax more easily than others, so a girl who gets off with the brush of a feather would probably be fine here.

I was concerned that the force of trying to grind myself into the skull/bullet for stronger contact might dig into my willing partner in an uncomfortable way, but he insisted it was okay—not that it was unnoticeable, but positioned over his pelvic bone in such a way that it wasn't too bad. On the other hand, he wasn't too keen on the fact that that the entire mechanism prevented deeper penetration (which, actually, was frustrating for both of us).

The bullet itself is nice, with four settings, although it has the one-button scroll-through deal. So you're going to need to choose a favorite mode and set it before applying, because scrolling through settings in the heat of the moment isn't going to work out too well.

All in all, Janine's Pleasure Ring did feel good and was a nice enhancement to the act. I don't think it offered enough pleasure for me to want to dig through my nightstand and slap it on my beau every time, but as far as the extras go, it's not a bad little accessory and definitely will be coming out to play again—you know, for the occasions when I'm in a buccaneering sort of mood.
