Marital Aid Test Kitchen: Lelo’s Alia

Marital Aid Test Kitchen: Lelo's AliaThe first of Lelo's Insignia collection, the Alia is elegant, compact, and to-the-point. It's rechargeable, waterproof, and has a unique looped shape for easy handling.

Often times the fastest, most effective way to get a gal to orgasm-land is eschewing all the bells and whistles and just going for direct clitoral contact. The Alia is here to meet those needs. With just three speeds and three vibration patterns, this toy is well-designed to get the job done. The center button changes modes, while + and - buttons increase or decrease intensity.

Maximum speed is pretty impressive considering the Alia's diminutive size, though for me the sensation wasn't so great that I gushed at the moment of contact. It required a bit of finagling on my part, but some things are worth the (minimal) effort.

The shape of the toy, too, makes said finagling a breeze. Being a loop, you can place your finger(s) in it, such that it can become an extension of your hand like a large vibrating knuckle of sorts... quite nice. The movement and range of the toy are as limitless as that of your hands and fingers — the entire body vibrates so in any configuration and with any point of contact you are assured to feel the sensations. The only drawback to this more intensive handling (as opposed to a toy just delicately perched between the fingertips) is that my hand and fingers received strong vibrations themselves, resulting in a not-so-erotic tingling sensation. A small price to pay, though, and of course you can maneuver this small toy with just your fingertips as well.

Overall this is a great little vibrator to have in the arsenal. The Alia is so cute and fun, I'm looking forward to it replacing my rubber duckie as my favorite bathtime friend.
