CNBC Picks The Top Twelve Pornstars

Our first reaction: what is CNBC doing playing in our sandbox? Not that we're territorial or anything, but, you know, it's still a bit strange. Our second reaction: these are the top twelve pornstars?

Don't get us wrong, we love each and every performer on the list. But it seems strange to include three retired performers (Ashlynn Brooke, Belladonna, and Sasha Grey, for those keeping tracking at home), and highlight Evan Stone alone among a sea of accomplished male performers. Then again, CNBC specifically says that this list is simply "the most popular pornstars, based on [their] reporting and analysis"...so perhaps they just have different criteria for "most popular pornstars" than we do?

Well, we may never know. But for those curious to know how things fared with CNBC's list, here's who they recognized as the, ahem, "Dirty Dozen": Joanna Angel, Sasha Grey, Belladonna, Kayden Kross, Lexi Belle, Bobbi Starr, Tori Black, Evan Stone, Lisa Ann, Jesse Jane, Jenna Haze, and Ashlynn Brooke.
