Embroidered Porn Is Beautiful And Discomfiting

For Art Rotterdam 2011, artist Tinkebell will be present live-embroidering images of young adult performers in an effort to show the flimsy, hypocritical nature of public indignation toward pornography. What this means for us: sexy pictures with flowers sewn on.

As Animal New York writes, this somehow "makes it even more perverse, but a lot prettier." We're not quite sure how to feel about this. The juxtaposition of the often violent imagery and the delicate embroidery does draw attention to the extremity of the sexual acts these women are performing. On the other hand, our instinctual reaction is, "Hey, boobs surrounded by flowers!" What do you think?
