Starz was faced with a problem: people loved "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," but Lucy Lawless's character was killed off in the season finale. Instead of losing the massive, breast-loving audience (and the massive-breast loving audience) they made this prequel. Yes!

So while we're disappointed that we won't see what happens with the slave rebellion hinted at in "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" (and we're also concerned for Andy Whitfield's health), we're happy that Starz preserved all the smutty fun of ancient Rome with "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena." In fact, they might have upped the nudity factor: this clip represent only one of three sexy scenes in the first episode. They must know we're watching...
