David Lynch is usually pretty strict about the relative brightness of a scene and how the much the audience should be able to see. Normally we respect his guidelines, but not when Naomi Watts and Laura Harring are involved.
One of the best parts about this is the intensely cheesy dialogue. If it showed up in porn, we'd scoff and write a snarky review. But since it's Lynch (and for some freaky reasons having to do with the complex plot of "Mulholland Dr.") we think this is unabashedly sexy as hell.
