Niche AlertTM: “Where My Wang Go?”

Male-to-Female post-op porn is on the rise in Thailand, and its novelty is evidenced by the use of the word "wang."

Porn shot in Thailand and other hubs of sex tourism is notable for its bare bones production and the transactional nature of the exchange; we know we are watching prostitution, which (here, anyway) is distinct from Porn Valley's "you will be playing a role in a movie that may involve sexual intercourse."

Director/star Darren Morgan interviews, and then has sex with, five post-op transsexual prostitutes. The interviews and the sex are often awkward (except for cover model Yella (or "Yelly," depending on which credit you believe), but it cannot be denied that Morgan represents the type of sex tourist who has no compunctions that this exchange is about romance or narrative.

Each of his partners is vaguely mannish, but in possession of convincing parts, which Morgan admires for their craftsmanship. In the end, "Where My Wang Go?" is less unsettling than stateside hooker videos, simply because viewers get the feeling with the former that the stars don't think anyone back home is going to see them.
