Eros Exotica Is Educational, Erotic, And A Little Bit Grimy

We know your sex game is tight, but it never hurts to brush up on some tantric cunnilingus strategies! Luckily, Eros Exotica has a fat stash of videos designed to make you an expert on everything from masturbation to whatever "The Tao Of Pregnant Sexuality" is.

But it's not like they're giving this stuff away for free! It can cost you anywhere from $29.95 to $59.95 depending on how long you sign up for and if you want the following pay cycle automatically tapping your account! It might seem unreasonable, but Eros Exotica has had over three million unique visitors in the single year that it's been around, so there must be something enticing about it. Ah, dilemma. Let's take a look at what makes this place tick.

Movies: This is the main attraction of Eros Exotica: seventeen instructional videos dealing with massages, manual stimulation, oral sex, anal sex, the Kama Sutra, sex during pregnancy, sex with a new partner, and even something called "Kunjasa" (it says it's a set of African sex techniques, but I can't find any information on it). They're all from a series of sex-ed videos produced by IntimateFilm, mostly filmed in Germany and Spain using Indian and European performers. Most of the films star Sahara Knite, an Indian pornstar who retired from the adult industry in 2010 but appeared in HBO's "Game of Thrones" earlier this year.

Every video (that I watched) is narrated by a soothing male voice, sometimes British and sometimes German, and moves at a relaxed pace. There's no hard fucking or nastiness to be found anywhere; everything these performers do to each other visibly brings them closer together, and it really makes you want to play along at home.

As lovely as the videos are, they're not really organized or explained. Sure, there are little blurbs that say things like, "The Art Of Fellatio: Discover the ancient and erotic oral techniques of the Far East," but that's it. It doesn't say where these videos come from, who the people are, when it was made, etc. All the information in this review is directly from the creator/webmaster/designer, Mister Peabody. Maybe some people don't care about the fine details of their porn, but I certainly do. In fact, I'd feel extremely uncomfortable taking instructions from a video when I don't know who is instructing me.

A nitpicky point: it's fine that the video lessons are broken down into easy-to-swallow pieces, but they're only available as WMV files and Windows Media Player is just barbaric.

Photos: The photo section isn't anything special; it's made up of random screencaps from the videos. This might be nifty if it were organized, but nothing is labeled, dated, or otherwise formally connected to a movie.

Other Awesome, Somewhat Unclassifiable Stuff: When you join Eros Exotica, you automatically get access to the 27 other sites in the Mister Peabody World network. It's an impressive family of sites that represents a bunch of different niches (voyeurism, redheads, MILFs, blowjobs, but nothing unusual), but every site feels rather shallow. There's no information on when material has been (or will be) added and details about the models and performers is rare. The main page for Mister Peabody World states that "active websites" are updated every week, but doesn't say which sites are active. And what could possibly be added to Eros Exotica when the entire site is based around one series?

More to the point, what's to stop people from buying a subscription, downloading the entire catalog of videos, and bouncing?

I hate to say this, but Eros Exotica feels sketchy to me, and it's not just because I want more words with my smut. The design is boxy and outdated, something like a site you would stumble upon in the early 2000s, and not user-friendly in the least. It's the little things that make a difference, you know? It's irksome to have to press a page number when browsing because there's no "Next" button.

Honestly, I love the idea and the energy behind Eros Exotica. It'd be wonderful to belong to a site that is continuously helping you expand your sexual consciousness while providing you with sensual fap material, but I don't feel that this particular site accomplishes that. Maybe there will be more stuff to ogle in the future—and Eros Exotica is supposed to sell their stuff in DVD format with bonus footage this Christmas—but right now, there isn't enough here to make it worth your money.
