Courtney Trouble Directs “Valencia: The Movies, Chapter One”

Michelle Tea's Valencia is the tale of a queer girl's coming of age (and exploration of sex), one that's inspired quite a people (including crush object Jiz Lee) to pack their bags and set course to San Francisco. And now it seems it's going to be a movie—or, well, a series of movies, anyway, as each of the book's twenty-one chapters will be turned into a five minute short film, with a different director (and different cast) breathing life into each film.

But wait, you ask—what on earth does this have to do with Fleshbot? Well! It seems that some of our favorite San Francisco porn people are involved in the transformation of Valencia from book to film: none other than Courtney Trouble will be directing the first chapter, with Jiz Lee and Quinn Valentine (as Tea) appearing in the film. It all sounds great, we know. But you know what'll make it even greater? You going to the project's Kickstarter page, and helping to fund Courtney's project. Come on, you know you want to do it.
