It is true that our male-dominated society sometimes puts women at certain disadvantages. That's because somewhere along the line, certain men became convinced that women were inferior beings who could not be trusted. But the good news is that we think we've finally figured out the original source of this whole sexist attitude: you see, some movie producer in the late 1960s fell in love with a pretty girl, asked her out on a date and, for whatever reason, it didn't work out. So he made a movie about it, and that's where all the trouble started. Can't we just forget about it and move on now?
