We know, American Apparel; we want our summer to be slutty, too, but it's just not going to happen. No amount of visible nipples or hair pulling will do it. Maybe you should try a different, more heartstring tugging approach.

Try spreading rumors that will force people (that is, gently force them) to buy revealing swag because it'll stop the end of the world in 2012. Those people love to buy stuff! Or better yet, connect your clothing to some moral button. Here's your new campaign: Every time someone buys a Cotton Bodysuit, an American Apparel employee gets her wings.
