You know what? Sophie Reade was right about Americans being prudish. MTV's "Skins" was so benign and under-sexualized that even the word "fuck" was bleeped. The British "Skins" had scenes like this: drawn-out, over-the-top, gratuitous softcore porn.

I know this criticism is rather late to the "Boo, American programming" party, but this isn't so much a criticism as it is an excuse to post one of my favorite sex scenes from season 2 of "Skins." Tony Stonem literally gets his groove back by banging this edgy girl at the university he's touring. That's some real life experience right there.
