This adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez's epic novel features Javier Bardem with a twirl-worthy evil-villain Salvador Dalí mustache. Strangely, he is the hero, or at least the complex, multi-faceted protagonist, of this decades-long love story. Hey, a girl whose boobs jiggle a little when she laughs!

Yeah, the plot is serious, heavy, possibly rife with political allegory and definitely rife with, well, cholera. But there are light moments too! Such as finger-painting your possessive tendencies on your lover's torso. We believe that in psychoanalysis this is called "automatic writing."
