The Tiani By Lelo: Where Sex And High-Tech Collide

At first glance, Lelo's Tiani looks much like other couples vibrators we've seen. But this one has a hidden secret: a sexy wireless controller that acts as its own vibrator. Two toys for the price of one!

Now, some light reading must be done to learn all the tips and tricks of the Tiani. But it's worth it! This is one luxurious toy with many features worth exploring. To begin with, the wireless controller takes two AAA batteries (which it comes with!) that are housed in a hidden compartment. The Tiani itself has a hidden DC port (yes, the whole toy is full of mystery and intrigue) that connects with a wall charger.

After she's all charged up, the brilliance can begin. I absolutely love the SenseMotion technology that powers the Tiani. With the wireless charger held flat in your hand, the Tiani vibrates on its lowest setting. As you tilt the controller, the intensity increases — when it's held completely vertically, the vibrations are at their strongest. A second mode allows for vibration changes as one moves the controller faster or slower. This, as you can imagine, allows for lots of different sensations and really fun exploration.

The regular control mode has + and - buttons for increasing intensity and a center button for scrolling through eight different patterns. These are your standard pulses and waves, but I chose to forego these in favor of creating my own.

So the technology of the toy blew me away, but how does it perform where it really counts? So the flexible, non-vibrating arm of the Tiani is inserted into the vagina while the "vibrating pleasure point" lies over the clitoris. Very, very unfortunately for me, the vibrating pleasure point overshot my clitoris and so, sadly, the highest vibrations weren't centered where they should have been. I wish it came in different sizes! I suppose my vagina is petite.

I still found it pleasurable enough to use during sex — it's always nice to have some extra vibrations going on down there, but I knew the Tiani wouldn't be able to bring me to orgasm as the placement wasn't just right. My boyfriend didn't mind the bendable arm; there was room enough for his member, and it wasn't too tight a squeeze. What he really enjoyed, however, was when I was playing with the controller along with his balls. Knowing you and your lover are experiencing the same elevating waves and crescendos of vibraty goodness was quite exciting for all.

Nevertheless, missing the clitoral mark was a definite bummer as there are so many fantastic features of this toy. I did like it as an external vibe, and will experiment with it more as it breaks my heart to think of my Tiani being put away forever.
